What Station is next to Flip??

Dr Wayne said:
With the latest ratings just out, I was wondering what station will be the next to flip and to what format?

WLS AM will go all sports. Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey has dropped hints over the past few months that sports talk is the way to make money on the AM band. Additionally, WLS AM recently hired Steve Stone away from the Score and added Lou Canellis. You don't make that kind of financial commitment without a bigger picture. And, Lew has obviously been distancing himself and the company from Rush AND Cumulus has a stake in the new CBS Radio Network and would certainly like to clear some of those hours in the Chicago market.

The Score already clears CBS Sports Radio. I don't see CBS letting WLS do that. Lokking at ratings at WLS AM, something needs to be done. WLS FM needs to go back to what they were doing well!! Oldies!!!!
