What stations are programmed on your car's radio?

I just thought I'd take a little poll here:

On my FM dial:
1. 100.5 The Drive
2. WPXY 97.9
3. 95.1 The Fox
4. WCMF 96.5
5. Kiss 106.7

There's an FM 2 dial, but I haven't programmed that, but I know its #1 is WBEE.

On the AM dial:

1. WHAM 1180
2. WYSL 1040
3. WROC 950
4. WBEN 930 from Buffalo
5. WBTA 1490 from Batavia

Ah, this old chestnut again!

AM1: 950 990 1040 1180 1280 1370
AM2: 550 570 740 930 1010 1520

There's another set of AM and FM bands in my Jetta, but they're set for NYC:

Who has time to listen to the car radio? It takes me three minutes to get home from work.

Some of us must drive from Brighton to Brcokport via the Spencerport Expressway...

In all honesty, 620, 930 and 1520 are there for old times' sake since I've collected a

on day pattern and the two Buffalo stations 24/7.

Regarding that 1010 dial

Mr. Fybush have you ever gotten WINS on the 1010 dial in the Rochester area? Of course CFTR comes in but I'm always hoping for some astronomical phenomenon to get WINS-though I suppose the signal would be a mess.

I can't speak for "Mr. Fybush" (he's my dad!), but yes, WINS pops in every once in a while, depending on atmospheric conditions. It's never tremendously listenable here, and the IBOC hash from KDKA and WBZ don't do it any favors.

On the Radknowski war wagon (99 Chevy Van, never owned or driven by Sammy Johns) Buffalo:

AM: WGR 550, WBEN 930, WNED 970, WECK 1230, WXRL 1300, WWKB 1520

FM1: WBUF 92.9, WJYE 96.1, WGRF 96.9, WTSS 102.5, WHTT 104.1, WYRK 106.5

FM2: WBFO 88.7, Giant FM 91.7, WNED 94.5, CHTZ 97.7, CILQ 107.1, WLKK 107.7

AM: 740 (CHWO); 930 (WBEN); 1180 (WHAM); 1230 (WECK); 1300 (WXRL); 1440 (WJJL)-Please, no flames, it was WWKB until it switched to talk.

FM: 92.9 (WBUF); 95.1 (WFXZ); 96.9 (WGRF); 98.9 (WBZE); 100.5 (WDVE); 107.7 (WLKK)

Yeah, that's what I figured. I've never been able to get, just CFRB(not CFTR on 1010 as I said in my earlier post because their on 680AM. My apologies to our Canadian friends for mixing up the two Toronto stations.)

Just flipped on the radio at 5:30 PM, and while CFRB is pretty strong, it's fading down at times and I can hear some WINS content fading up behind it. Sit on the frequency and listen for a bit and you should hear it, too.

Let's see, if I don't count the stations that are playing Christmas music WAY TOO EARLY or the stations that Entercom just gutted that leaves me with...my cd player? ???

God, what's the point of this thread? No one is going to change their listening habits based on what someone else has programmed on their radio. We like what we like, or - as is the case with this board - we don't like anything. How about we try thinking alternatively for once: what do you gloomy guses, on the outside looking in, actually enjoy about the medium for which this entire community is based?

What's up with the post coming out of left field? ??? I was just curious as to what other people on this board listened to, not try to convince them to switch nor did anyone really post anything negative about the stations in question.

Not a big selection here in the Southern Tier.

1. WLSV for local news
2. WLEA local news

XM the rest of the time.
