The best reception I had was a few Christian stations, then a slightly weaker Catholic station, and an even weker gospel station.
As far as non religious stations, I found it Quite entertaining to hear Radio Marti, and Radio Habana Cuba on almost adjacent frequencies at the exact time in Spanish. (Both were giving inaccurate information which was even more hillarious, Radio Marti was way off (I have many trustworthy friends with faily there, that visit regularly and even don't like much the current system, but they will always say, maybe not free, maybe, not capitalism, maybe poor, old cars, double currencies, controlled allegiance etc, BUT ALWAYS great healthcare efficient and fast. Radio Marti was going on about people waiting for hours in hospital hoping from treatment, reminded me of my days waiting 10 plus hours in the Emergency Room in the U.S., but then I turn to Radio Habana Cuba, and they were translating this guy in english, basic speech, but they translated into spanish in a very revolutionary socialist way, embellishing the translation alot and changing it to fit cuban ideology, which the speech didn't Sigh. Politics I'm ashamed to say, BOTH stations were indeed propaganda lol. but entertaining, until I realized, A) People might take them seriously, and B) Marti is tax payer funded. The stop on my journey.....
I got DW Germany VERY clear today (but in German), Some Arabic/Persian? Station that I couldn't understand, a station from Madrid Spain, AND at night I got China Radio International in English about as clear as Z100! (CRI English has the most powerful signal I have ever received here in NYC) And then slightly down the dial, I hear a much weaker English version of Radio Romania International (which I very much enjoyed) news mixed with historical almost classical music.
I have gotten Radio from Canada before, but not today.
