What stations do you know that used to carry The Galloping Gourmet

KIMO-13 (now KYUR) in Anchorage was the only station in Alaska that had Galloping Gourmet in the early '70s (don't think it was on either KTVF or KFAR-TV in Fairbanks).

In my area, Philadelphia PA, I forget which station carried Galloping Gourmet. I believe
it was WPHL, Channel 17 at 12 noon, but I'm not sure.

In the earlier GG run, WEWS-TV 5 Cleveland carried the show..

WJAN-17 in Canton, Ohio carried the show in 1974-75, while WEWS carried the 5-minute "Take Kerr" segments in 1975.

i remember the guy Guzzlin' wine all during the show, he probably fell off his horse on the way home. he's probably too old to "Gallop" anymore. it was on wttv indianapolis ch 4

Yes, he is a self-admitted alcoholic, and later became a Born Again Christian.

...Kerr even filled in for Pat Robertson on The 700 Club a few times, tho I seem to recall that was most frequently during Robertson's Presidential campaign in 1988; I don't recall seeing him any later than that. The partisan political climate at CBN may have turned Graham off a bit; he's since done quite a few things for PBS (including some joint programs with Julia Child late in her career)...

By the time Graham Kerr's self-titled show went on the air in 1990, he practically took his Christianity private and just concentrated on the cooking -- though he retained his healthy, thrifty alternatives angle that he developed in the mid-1970s.

...add the three stations of what was then calling itself the Wisconsin TV Network: WKOW-TV/27 Madison, WAOW/9 Wausau and WXOW/19 La Crosse...
