What stations do you listen too?

Everybody here seems so passionate about radio. So I am curious, what stations do you listen too? When Im in the truck Im pretty much locked on ESPN radio 910 the team. Mostly Bobby Hartins' show. Seems like that is what is always on when I go for a ride. Colin Cowherd too. Just recently I have been moving up the dial to the other Kirkman sports station @ 1450. Fox Sports is pretty cool, JT the Brick @ nights has been pretty entertaining for years, even during football when I have to hear about 'the raiders' team that hasnt been .500 in years, and probably wont be anytime soon! During the weekends I bounce the dial listening to any football game I can.

I listen to a bit of radio on the internet too. Mainly x1fmradio.com a good alternative station out of San Diego. At work we have a service that pumps music in from somewhere far across the galaxy, so I dont have a say in that, but so far its been pretty cool.

Oh yeah...this is in Charleston too. Anybody else have a good favorite station they wanna talk about?

I like these kinds of questions... Most of my in car listening is to Sirius!!! Me and my wife listen to The Big 80's, Buzzsaw, and Hair Nation... Since I have started my own internet radio station I listen to it most of the time when I am online. It is nothing fancy, but man we all have a blast playing the tunes.... CC1

Since I've given up on Columbia radio, I listen to XM. I like the Fungus, Squizz, Lucy, or Ethel. I still listen to local radio at times though. I enjoy WXRY 99.3, WVOC 560 just to name a few.

For the most part I flip between WWNU; New 92 and WTCB, B 106 . I find that the other stations here in Columbia really leave me lacking.

In the car, Country Legends 98.3, and at home Memories 1280. Sometimes Memories 1280 in the car but I have to be in range. But these stations don't reach S.C.

The South Carolina stations I like are WAVO Rock Hill, WMUU Greenville (mostly when I am in the mountains but I get opportunities close to home too) and Easy 105.9 Myrtle Beach. WIOZ Pinehurst reaches northeastern S.C.

Of course I listen to WLRE when I am near home. When I go Columbia it's between WCOS and WWNQ' if it is toward Charleston then it's WIWF. Haven't been much beyond that lately except one trip to Atlanta.

I live on the Grand Strand and I'm like CC1. I listen to Sirius in my personal truck while my wife has XM. When I'm in my work truck, I listen to WRNN 99.5(Steve Porter rules!) and ESPN Radio 93.9. When I work in NC, I listen to 96.5 The Drive and Q-98 from Fayetteville and Jammin' 99.9 and WGNI in Wilmington. I think Satellite Radio is the best. If i could install in my work truck, I'd do it in a minute. The stations I mentioned are pretty good, though. Other than those, radio on the Strand is just dismal.

The thread will note that LRPackFan is smarter than Grand Strand radio. You may now Google his address and turn off the signal to his house.

No, I'm not smarter. I just know what I like. I've lived here since '85 and radio here at the beach just doesn't do it for me like it has in previous years. Just my opinion. I'm not taking any offense to your statement, just clarifying my point.

LR PackFan. Have you ever flipped over to AM and listened to WNMB? I hope not since you say radio here is dismal! Fortunately for us, we hear from lots of folks every day who seem to be pretty enthusiastic about what we play. Of course, no one can please everyone!

Yes, Bill I have. I remember when WNMB was still on the FM dial. I like WNMB-AM very much. My apologies for not mentioning it. I especially like the fact that they started broadcasting the NMBHS football games last year. I listen to them every Friday night. I know Tyler Watkins and Wayne White and they do great job! I live in Little River and sometimes it gets a little scratchy at night, so I listen online. You folks have a good station and do good job.
My comments were directed at the FM dial. I still enjoy scanning the AM dial and seeing what I can pick up.
