What Stations Will Benefit From All Christmas Competitors?

i am sure the urban country and classic rock stations will do well in the last month in gsp, columbia and charleston?

I'm sure they don't get as big of a benefit as they don't have as strong of a signal, but in areas where it is received well I actually think Chuck FM would gain the most alienated Magic listeners. Their formats are closest. My, I don't know. I have a hard time seeing regular Magic or My listeners going to Jamz or Rock 101.

but where do they go? people are keeping diaries ipods and other media? streaming? iheartradio? talk? sorry i forgot people care about live and local jocks what does the rest of the state think

I'm interested in the number of diaries actually submitted.

One, I've never met anyone that filled one out to this day.
Two, I talk to a majority of people who don't listen to the radio anymore and these aren't industry malcontents, but rather the biggest demo radio seeks.
Three, the people I know who listen to radio religiously haven't changed their presets in 10 years.

Sorry to say but you're right on target. I'm sure we all wish it was not so

To me, Freqdev is dead-on with the end results: The non-Christmas-ers will do well, when the Fall book is made available. I'm more than sure that many of you share my generic view of this Seasonal Oafing. If the two AC's would correctly program the other ten months, they wouldn't have to run a last minute Fire Sale to make 4th quarter budget. If each of the two AC's had a 9-or-even a 10-share, you wouldn't see them donning the Red Sweater. Per Freqdev's view, and I agree: Much like years past, the two GSP Countrys net a healthy 8-9-or higher, and the two AC's willingly settle for a pee-u-nee 4-or-5. It repeats, and everyone seems to be content with it. B-93 is still poisoning their playlist with worthless Hip-hop garbage, and wonders why they can't pull decent adult numbers. Let the one Churban in the market have that Horse(sensored), play the new Pop product, and never look back! To me, Breaking Even...Is Loosing!
