Geez, it's not bad enough that we had to suffer through the fall and winter every friday and monday to listen to Steve Diosse bully every caller and act like a total thug. and Fred Smerlas show off his Harvard degree, but now..DURING BASEBALL SEASON...they're on again???!!! Why???!!!

This wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that today's scheduled 1 PM Sox game was delayed because the Phillies were in a traffic jam, would it?

I can't stand 'em either... but there's football news with the new collective bargaining agreement, free agency, cuts and the upcoming draft... it's the Pats side of SoxPatsSoxPats talk on WEEI... Dale and Holley talk about hockey and basketball a bit but that's the deal on the Big Show. Thankfully, those two haven't been on much the last few months.

of course, you won't hear much about March Madness on there because no one cares about college sports up here except for Ted Sarandis... if you listen to the national shows on 1510, they have a wider variety of topics... that's because it's pure sports radio as opposed to guy radio that WEEI touts. It's working for them, of course... never underestimate.. uh, you get the idea...

Love it, hate it...regardless, it is local.

Proof positive that just because it's "local" doesn't necessarily mean it's "better". It's all in the eye of the beholder.
