What the heck is CBS 46 thinking?

If you want to see CBS 46 news right after the Falcons/Saints game, don't bother. An all-new "CSI Miami" is coming on at 11:30, followed by the news at 12:30 AM.

Also, during their sports shows, McDonald's fries are a part of the show. Last weekend, meterologist Chris Smith was eating them. Tonight, during the Falcons pre-show, they appeared on the set while the hosts were talking football.

Yes...subliminal advertising has arrived at WGCL News (Sports shows are a production of the news department). This is a slippery slope for them.

I think they are running out of cash fast, thus why they made a deal with the devil ("700 Club").

Unfortunantly, since 700 is on WGCL now, I think Meredith will have a harder time unloading the station, which they need to do soon. If I were CBS, I would negotiate with WSB-TV for an affiliation ASAP.

I'm sure they're thinking that they'll get more ad revenue from local spots during CSI Miami than they would from their pathetic excuse for news.

While I don't think Channel 2 will move from ABC to CBS, I agree that
CBS deserves better. Once upon a time it had a decent affiliate,
reasonably classy, known as WAGA. If I were king for one day,
NBC would be back on 2, CBS on 5, and ABC on 11. But since I'm
not, I don't know what can be done to get CBS a better home,
short of offering Cox, Fox, or Gannett so much money they couldn't
say no. And I'd say those are long odds.

[/quote] CBS 46 needs to move "The 700 Club" to the 10:00 a.m. time slot (Where Tony Danza was) and put "The People's Court" move back to the popular 9 a.m. time slot. My
sister-in-law hates it being on opposite of "Jugde Hatchet" on Fox 5. Now she's has to
watch that wooden jugde (Alex) that preceedes "Hatchet".
