What the $#&@ is going on at KJLL

My wife walks in this morning and tells me she was tuning around and discovered that Don Imus is back on the Jolt. I'm thinking that she must have picked up 1310 KXAM out of Phoenix, but I turn on my radio and sure enough there is Imus in the Morning on KJLL!! During one of the local breaks, Nicole Cox announced that due to "contractural obligations" Imus will be on until 8am followed by Mancow until 10am, and alluded that this was temporary (I hope not!).

During Fred's segment this morning, he mentioned that Don was back on in Tucson and Don sounded somewhat surprized and told him not to screw it up again. When Don asked Fred how the SIRIUS deal was going, Fred replied that he was still waiting on "paperwork". Fred also mentioned that he got canned from the Jolt this time because he had "no talent".

IMUS = BORING

Cow is much more entertaining

Contractual obligations? Like the ones that made them drop Imus because they kept ignoring WW1's invoices...

Sounds about right.

It would appear Laurie Cantillo's programming genius dissintegrates when "talent" leaves the Clear Channel building.
