What the PuCk !?

I find this Funny:

97.7 FM was "gonzo"(no pun, intended) about having listeners sign
a petition they drafted up to "stick" it(again, no pun) to
the nhL/nhL-pa..and, "BOYCOTT" the league..some thing to the
effect>> how many days out - will be equal to the amount of
days fan will not watch hockey..the players didnt want to give the
fans any thing last year, so 97.7 fm thought the FANs should
not get involved into hockey this year......

*BUT NOW* 97.7 will be *Right There*..with coverage, updates,
live at bars (go-leafs-go)etc,etc...

Why ?
They will not stand by what they try to pioneer -- ?

*I know alot of logical answers..selling spots to the sponsors,
listeners interested in hockey, but...it just seems they
were soo Passionate about "holding off..following the hold out"
but, now...well, it's "game on!" I find that to be 'funny'
how money talks, and it is business as usual now that hockey is back : )

Editors Commentary:
I am grateful hockey is back !

Dude, media mirrors public opinion. If the public's pissed off at hockey, the stations'll be pissed off too. And if the public says "all is forgiven," well, then, we know what happens, eh?

So, hypocritical, yes - out of character, no :)
