I can't speak for what went on at the Buzz, because I never listened until they started the annoying countdown to end the station (LITERALLY, that was my first time listening to the station longer than 1 min.) ..Don't know him personally and have only heard him doing remotes lately on Snap, but an insider I know at Entercom hasn't always had the nicest things to say about Brad.. Could he be the next GM for that group?..Question his ability to lead the growing cluster, market it, and become the liasion between that building and coporate hq. Scratch all of that programming and on-air work, that means very little in the realm of a GM- not saying it isn't a blessing to have a GM with a programming background, but once you hit that status you have to put that behind you and perform on a entirely new level..Can Brad handle it is the true question? As for Snap, great concept..Just don't see any longevity in the format in the city, doesn't offer anything special and the music mix is too wide-ranged among demos. Even Jack format stations are suppose to have some common ground. I agree with the earlier comment, I'd go as far as to say Snap will top out with a 2.0-2.5 at the most. Those jocks you're hiring, I mean he is hiring, better have some Memphis connections and not some bland/fake announcer, I'd try to shell out a few extra bucks to hire talent away from other stations or grab some of those out of work jocks just so the station could make some sort of threat in the marketplace, otherwise; the dust will settle and it will be just as worst off as the Buzz was.
