It might be a bad idea, but this is different radio. You will see why I thought of this when you read on.
You know, 1510am has a whole lot of shows on there such as Local Sports Talk, "Yahoo Sports Radio", the newly "NBC Sports Radio", and local Sports College Games, Church Services at Midnight, and "Dream Vision 7 Radio Network"
This is confusing for the average listenners.
What they should do, is put "Dream Vision 7 Radio Network" (LIVE) on 24/7. Some of their shows, when it comes on, are on Delay times. The Network is in Massachusetts (I think around Randolph, Ma)? In any case, this particular radio network is different. Some of their shows are interested. (It looks like on the weekend, they play some relaxing "Divine Music" -Although some Sunday nights I hear some of their Pre-Recorded shows) Why not just put the music on. Go by the schedule?
So. my idea is, instead of playing so many different shows, why not just put "Dream Vision 7 Radio Network" on 24/7 and let WEEI get "NBC Radio Network" (on the overnight and different times on weekends). Supposly in March, "NBC Sports Radio" will be 24/7 (maybe except early Saturday and early Sunday mornings). I think "NBC Sports Radio" would be a lot better on WEEI
Either that or

Simple. (1510am and WEEI) should trade. Let WEEI have "NBC Sports Radio" on off hours, and 1510am have "ESPN Radio"

ESPN would want to be on WEEI (AM) more than 1510 for signal issues (and also on the 93.7
overnight). ESPN also has NBA games (today EEI-FM had C's network while 850 had
ESPN radio's call), baseball and other play by play. It's a contract they run etc and ESPN
is the brand name.

It would be like NBC letting Jay Leno go to a small cable network and putting some untalented
schmuck in the overnight slot.

Which they have a contract to run.

When you have enough money to buy WUFC, you can put whatever you please on them
and lose a bunch of money.
 
Wonder if they may try; actually they do run one NBC sports show overnight I believe and that's supposed to be their main commitment/identity (NBC Sports Radio Boston). If so they'd be part of 3 networks; NBC, Yahoo, and Fox. Then there's Brother Stair paying them some money...

For all the potshots I've ever heard taken at Brother Stair....one of them has never been "the check bounced"! :D

But seriously...I wonder if the first poster in this thread really "gets" the idea that 1510 is really nothing more than a 50KW billboard for whomever has the most $$$ to make thier voice heard.

If CC wanted Fox Sports to run in Boston and didn't care to give up comedy on 1200 and
Spanish lang stuff on 1430 they could do some kind of deal to put it on 1510 but 1510
already has local and national sports and Bro Stair etc. Now if CC really wants JT run in
Boston and 1510 thinks they'll make more money than what Bro Stair is handing them..

btw I tried to find a program schedule for WUFC; nothing really on their FB other than plugs for their local show and the website they have continues to say "This Is My Site Description" (since
September)
