What TIS stations do you get day and night?

Here in League City, Texas ... sorry, I do not know the call signs off the top of my head:

530 - Texas City, Texas
1650 - Friendswood, Texas (surprisingly good signal, it gets out at least 20 miles, but I never have to worry about that since I'm only 2-3 miles from its tower)
1670 - Sugar Land, Texas/Fort Bend County (gets in here occasionally, but that's about 30 miles away)
1690 - Johnson Space Center

Dayton, OH area..

530 Somewhere in the Cincy area, Artemis traffic info
1610 Troy, OH relays NWS
1620 Air Force Museum, continuous loop of museum parking and info
1660 Information Radio, Kettering. This was on 1610 but when 1600 WULM sold, the new owners demanded the interference pact be resceinded so they moved to 1660. This station often illegally acts as a broadcast station, doing play by play sports. Usually format is community PSA s and announcements with Voice of America news at the top of the hour.

There's another one, i think 1630, relaying NWS but don't know where it is.

1670: Relay of NOAA Weather Radio. I have No Idea what this stations Callsign or City is.

McKinney, TX.

That one is in Carrollton.

I've tried for the 1680 from DFW airport from my new location in Houston, but day and night is dominated by the old school R&B station in Monroe, LA. The DFW 1640 shut down years ago when the former KSKY format moved to 1630. They might as well shut down 1680 as well, because of IBOC splatter from KKLF. KKLF sideband splatter is so bad in Houston I can't get the space center TIS on 1690. That frequency finally opens up in the late afternoon and is dominated by a station from Atlanta, with the mouse coming in from Denver occasionally.

From Jackson, Mississippi I once picked up the Pontchatrain bridge station out of New Orleans around 200 miles away. I also used to pick up the Dallas airport on a couple of frequencies in the expanded AM band around 1640 before the band filled up with new stations. I'm not sure what the power was on the Dallas stations but if it was 10 watts, (which i doubt) it sure was getting out a long way. anybody remember?

They got a waiver for 60 watts due to the size of the airport. It is a shame that they lost 1640, as one station was inbound flights and the other outbound. We were left with outbound on 1680, and it was really hard to find out about gate changes if you were picking somebody up. Thank goodness for cell phones, or I would have left a celebrity stranded!!!

Sorry to drudge up an old thread but despite spending hours DXing 1600-1710 khz, I've never heard any kind of TIS station from this location, until now. I found WQBR 256 recently on 1620 almost overtaking the ESPN station out of South Bend. WQBR 256 is 110 miles away across the lake in Lake County, IL. Radioreference shows six different transmitters running 10 watts:

This was received around 7am EST. I have no idea which location I heard, but I'm happy!

I have a local Northern Virginia Community College TIS at 1630 and more distant 1670 relaying the weather station on 162.55

Anyone gotten the DFW info channels sometime? Or the farthest TIS station you've ever got?
I remember back in 2004, I caught the TIS signal from the airport and Duncanville's too.

From Concord,CA (30mi from San Francisco)
530:WPTR, Emergency Radio from Nearby Martinez
890:TIS from Travis Air Base in Fairfield

530 in Martinez is WPTR552, travisl5678.

Regulars here (near 32°45'40"N 116°56'50"W):
530 - LAX, with an unID'd HAR mixing with it.
1620 - San Ysidro HAR

Can be heard with a sensitive and selective enough setup:
1660 - San Diego convention center
1690 - San Diego airport

1500 at Qualcomm, if it is on the air, is an unmodulated carrier, and I haven't heard a peep from 890 at Cabrillo National Monument in a while. Also 1610 in Chula Vista is the first TIS I remember hearing, and it appears to have been off the air for a while now.

I have only heard 3 TIS stations across the LA area. Here's what I've gotten:

530: LAX airport info
820: Hollywood Bowl info
1500: travel information, has references to Beverly Hills.

1500 is the weakest one as I can't hear it where I live, I only get it in the Hollywood area or Beverly Hills (duh). 820 is a mess unless you go near the Hollywood Bowl.
