What TV shows would you like to see on DVD?

What TV shows would you most like to see on DVD that have not been released yet? The first one that comes to mind for me is "Perfect Strangers" starring Bronson Pinchot. I loved that show. I searched all over the internet and couldn't find any info on a possible release date.

I would like to see the last 3 seasons of The Flintstones on DVD, the next 8 seasons of Diff'rnet Strokes, Lost Honeymooners, Brady Bunch 3-5th season, Dennis The Menace (Jay North), Malcom In Teh Middle (Season 2-present).

"The Name of the Game"

I don't even think this 90 Minute TV Series made it to Video? Starring
Gene Barry, Anthony Franciosa, & Robert Stack

This odd series had three rotating stars, who were featured in independent episodes tied together by a loose common theme. The commonality was Howard Publications, the self-made publishing empire of Glenn Howard. Episodes featuring Howard focused on his business and political confrontations and his flamboyant lifestyles. Other episodes featured Jeff Dillon, a crusading investigative reporter, or Dan Farrell. Farrell was a retired FBI agent who used his position as the editor of "Crime Magazine" to wage a literary war against organized crime. The series had several semi-regulars who were featured in one or more of the plot threads, including editorial assistant Peggy Maxwell, and junior reporters Joe Sample, Andy Hill and Ross Craig.

As far as prime time shows go-Whose Line Is It Anyway, Ed and Coach.
I would also like to see best-of DVDs of Letterman, Conan, Tom Snyder,
and Bob Costas. Maybe even some game show best-ofs (Match Game, Classic
Concentration, Hollywood Squares)

Want to find out about TV shows coming to DVD, check this site out that I go to nearly everyday:

I know that it's been discussed on this board as to why it couldn't be on DVD, but I would like to own the complete set of WKRP in Cincinnati. Dave's World with Harry Anderson would be a good one too.

I'd agree with WKRP, even if it had to be the episodes with the music edited. I'd also like to see Newhart (his 80's show).

Something I've wondered about is why there aren't more DVDs of shows with the best shows of a season that could sell at a lower price than the complete set, like was done with Friends.

Hill Street Blues.......I have nearly the entire series on tape from when it ran on Bravo a couple of years ago, but I'd like to see them sans syndication cuts.

I do several times a day.

Also would love to see Wonder years on DVD all 5 Seasons.

Ditto, but since there is no way we'll ever get it with the original music, I try not to think about it.

U.K. version, I agree. U.S. version, fuggedaboudit.

I'd pay for a best of the Late Late Show with Tom Snyder. Wonder why Letterman's Worldwide Pants hasn't tapped into that potential revenue.
______________

I would like to see Welcome Back Kotter come out on DVD. I would like to see Seinfeld seasons come out on DVD faster than every 6 months and even an idea of having one of the networks release a best of sports moments televised from that network.
Edited by Bil on 07/09/05 06:14 PM.

I would love to relive my childhood by seeing episodes of the old Nickelodeon show, "You Can't Do That on Television," especially since it is no longer on the air. The recent Nick Rewind series of DVDs has given me hope, although as I understand it the cable net didn't outright own the series since it was a Canadian import.

Then Came Bronson
Whirybirds
Sea Hunt
Ripcord
T.H.E. Cat

From the same era: How about HBO issuing "Not Necessarily The News"?

And here's a nice obscure one. Not long after ARTS and The Entertainment Channel merged into A&E, they aired a 90-minute edition of the former's interview series "Nitecap" in which Sid Caesar, Carl Reiner, and Mel Brooks talked about "Your Show of Shows".

I was in Best Buy the other day and saw a "best of" of Welcome Back Kotter. I believe it contained 6 episodes.
