what was airing on 610 this morning?

Flipped over to 610 around 11:20 this Sunday morning and they were airing apparently a non-English Indian music program...I listened for 15 minutes or so...is home improvement gone and is their new revenue stream brokered time? Or was this an erroneous feed? The quality was poor as the audio cut out periodically. I was out of the car until about 12:30 where regular sports programming was on. If 610 keeps up this great lead in to those rabid NFL fans, maybe 790 still has a chance...

Not sure, but I heard some sort of a British broadcast on 610 one afternoon. It was obviously a mistake, but it lasted for a few minutes. I just chalked it up to a satellite blunder. I know I've run a board before and our satellite coordinates were correct, but some other show was coming down for whatever reason. It was for several minutes too, but eventually it was corrected on their end. Kind of a helpless feeling.

I also heard this but since I am 80 miles south of Houston I thought maybe it was a Mexican station using way too much power . At first it was Mexican techno, then the Indian music you spoke of.

By the way I think Tom Tynan goes off the air at 11.

Re: what was airing on 1590 last night?

Have they changed formats? I was flipping through the presets on my home stereo last night about 9pm and landed on 1590 and heard Asian language programming. As I flipped over more to the right it was bleeding over on 1610. Anyone know what that was? Haven't had a chance to check and see if its still there.

And then the PD tries to blame YOU for the blunder -- go figure!

Just checked 1590, Thursday at 4:20pm and Radio Disney. I would be surprised if 1590 is brokering time at night, since it is an ABC-Disney owned station and would carry Radio Disney fulltime. Very likely a wrong fed coming into the station. KSEV 700 is notorious for running the wrong fed all night long or just a buzzing noise. Fortunately KSEV has only a handful of listeners at night.

Radio Disney/Houston is not an ABC O/O is it?
