I seem to recall a special primetime episode of The View back in 2002/2003 or so did terribly, drawing in less viewers than their daytime ratings and making it one of ABC's lowest-rated programs in its history.
That would be Manchester Prep, a series based on the 1999 movie Cruel Intentions. The reason Fox never aired it was because they couldn't ever get it past the censors(twin sisters have a lesbian incest relations can put really a damper on things
) So the episodes in question ended up becoming "Cruel Intentions 2" which was a straight-to-video flick.
