WHAT WE KNOW, WHAT WE DON'T IN MEMPHIS RADIO

I have been reading these posts all day long about The Buzz, SNAP and the "Bloodletting in Memphis." The fact of the matter is, it is fun to speculate what happens in this market, but unless we are working for one of these companies that do this stuff, we really have no clue what their thoughts are, how and why they arrived at the decisions and who in fact pulled the trigger to do this stuff. Maybe someone should call one of the stations and speak to whomever the manager is and just ask straight up why a format was changed or why someone got let go. I did it once in another market I liveD in years ago and one of the VPs at the radio group actually told me what I wanted to know.

What fun is that?
