What will CC do with WOLL

I guess thus station is #1 in WPB. It is has a CP to move north (Aloha trust rules?). What will happen with the format or ratings. Is the ratings in other demos not so good, how about billing?

There's a thread a little back on this board about it.

Speculation includes, due to the fact that KOOL is doing well, ZZR is not, and CC would be foolish to trash the inroads they've made, WOLL moving back to 94.3 (now a 50kw C2), and WZZR going to 105.5 when it goes (back) to Stuart/Port. St. Lucie. What makes this interesting is that WQOL in Vero Beach just reimaged (again) as Oldies 103.7 targeting the Treasure Coast, and ZZR's simulcast on 101.7 in Vero, WCZR, is in the Aloha Trust.

I'm also wondering about the viability of an on-channel booster for WQOL in St. Lucie County, near PSL or St. Lucie West.

Dr. Tillery or David Eduardo could provide more professional insight. Gentlemen??

The signals for 94.3/WZZR and Kool/105.5 seem very comparable. In Palm Beach County, both signals do extremely well in the north, from Lake Worth through Jupiter. Both signals weaken from Boynton Beach through Boca. I am not sure that the 94.3 signal would be an improvement for Kool.

Right now they are, yes. But if 105.5 moves (back) up to Port St. Lucie, 94.3 will be the last FM standing (no pun intended) in PBC that's a full C2. Kool WAS on 94.3 for many years as Oldies 94.3 and you have to think of which format brings in more dollars: FM talk or Classic Hits/AC?
