What will Gail Huff (Mrs. Senator Scott Brown) do now?

A couple of years ago, Gail Huff left Boston's WCVB after nearly 20 years to move to Washington DC to be closer to her husband, newly elected Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown. She went to work parttime for DC's ABC affiliate.

Tonight, Scott Brown was defeated in his re-election bid by Elizabeth Warren. His term officially ends in January.

So, after that, Scott Brown presumably heads back home to Wrentham MA and maybe restarts his career as a lawyer (real estate, I think).

What are the chances Gail Huff will be back at WCVB (or Boston television) sometime early next year??

Or, maybe, they'll move to Nashville to be closer to daughter Ayla, a former American Idol contestant, whose music career is based there.

It might hinge on Scott's future political plans. If, for instance, he were to run for governor, Gail would have to quit all over again.

(Note I did not say "quit in a huff.")

There is the possibility Scott may run for the Senate again. If John Kerry becomes Secretary of State (which is rumored) there needs to be an election to fufill the remainder of his term. That still doesn't help Gail in the meantime. I agree that she probably will freelance for now.
