Now that 2006 is almost here, I am curious to find out if any of you are ready to make your predictions known for local radio. Which station will be the next to flip? And, to which format? Any groups ready to buy or sell? Which radio personalities will leave the market? Is anyone brave enough to go head-to-head with KNCI? Let me hear it from the Nostradamus of Sacramento radio and give it your best shot...

Perhaps CBS will finally cut bait and sell off the cursed 93.7 stick?
Last year they made no bones about their plans to lose their dead weight clusters in non-major markets, and maybe that line of thinking will apply to single stations as well. If so, I could see CC snapping it up and going with their "La Preciosa" format.
