As sad as it is and why we glamourize criminals is beyond me.

first thing- Buddy will get an air gig and (you forgot to mention this) Imus will be back on the air. maybe not in Providence YET!!!! both within a 30 day time span.

second thing-Someone will go All Christmas
third- WALE will be on the air.Not at full power but airing something just to keep the license.
Or Buddy will be part of the WALE big-time investers and he will be the Afternoon drive host.
Hot will hire and fire whatever they are looking for.
Last but not least WPRO will not have a 7-mid jock.
 
Cianci will get an on air gig. That will be first. In this business it's not always about how talented you are. It's often how big a NAME you are. Nothing demonstrates that better than what happened this past week on the TV side of things. After months of interviewing and auditioning people to replace Bob Barker, CBS swooped in and offered The Price Is Right job to Drew Carey without him even having to show up to try out. CBS went for a NAME. Not necessarily the best candidate for the job. This happens in radio too. So don't be to surprised when Buddy shows up on your dial. It's all in a NAME.
 
FIRST, Ron St. Pierre will loose an hour of his show to Mr. Depetro. You see he (DePetro) represents what Ms. Hayes likes. He thinks the war in Iraq is a good thing and America is winning. Ms. Hayes (The GM of WPRO) is married to a military guy. I think he might even be a Captain of the National Guard. Ms. Hayes believes we must support Mr. Bush. Maybe when she lost the weight she also lost brain cells. She is so happy to be sleeping with the Captain she will do ANYTHING to win this war.

Faried (sic) tried to help w/ the Buddy contract but prolly botched it. Remember it was him who came to try to get Arleane.

My prediction, this is a lot of bluster. Wherever Buddy lands he will not last. He is not used to having to show up every day.
 
(1)Cianci back but weekend show only at first. Not sure where but even if HJJ gets him it will be a temporary fix for a losing operation.
(2)Hot 106 morning show members added but promoting it as a more-music show it won't make too much of a difference. Until Arbitron sends diaries to cell users this type of station isn't going to make any killing.
(3)PRO-fm nights will get filled by September when J-Buff goes back to school.
(4)Then Christmas music
Longer range predictions for 2008
(1)HJY joins the CC voicetrack club middays and Laudani leaves probably around the same time
(2)Breakup of the Coast morning duo. Mulhern leaves and Lemire gets a female co-host.
No WALE but radiowavesri continues to entertain us on the board
