What will Kidd Chris do??

Will his warm up show until Stern departs be music intense or talk. I hope music intense. I would like to see WYSP evolve into a full-time, music station. Tommy, Matt and Huggy, overnights and weekends are good with the jocks just talking a bit and playing plenty of rock music. Couzin Ed just is not cut out for the station, if they are going to have a mostly music format. Nothing against Ed, but he is boring and predictable and Tanya adds nothing but the dumb blond senero, which is a turn off to most music lovers. I would like to see Frank Lario, former jocks, Cerf and Mel Toxic, get regular airshifts, when the pieces of this puzzel go into effect next year.

With rock radio, and the music product in particular on rock radio as bad as it is, why would anyone want more rock music on the radio? One can hear AC/DC and the "new one" by Nickleback only so many times

Re: What will Couzin Ed do??

Couzin Ed is a stale voice on the air, he needs to move on perhaps back to where he came from and go home to Virginia.

Cerphe went back to Washington, DC where he's a legend in rock radio, having worked many years there before coming to WYSP from WJFK. He's back there on The Arrow, D.C.'s Classic Rock station, so I doubt he'd come back to Philadelphia. Would like to see Mel Toxic Taylor back on again, one of the old I-92 jocks!

And PST - anyone know what he is doing now?

I'm anxious to hear him, hope he lives up to all this hype. Shows how up-Infinity's-rear the Inquirer is - did you see the huge picture of Kidd Chris in the Inky today? Nice special treatment there, Mr. Klein!

It is funny you should say that. Klein would report on a full bathroom experience (I'll keep it clean) at MMR if some "insider" called it in. I don't know if he realizes how polarized his "radio" column appears. He is obviously a fan of rock radio.

At least someone is on Rock Radios side, aren't you sick of all this hype we have to have shoved down our throats day after day about how fantastic hip hop and rap are, and rock is dead (which is totally false), by the one-sided, bias media. I know I have been, for way over TEN years.
