Put the red headed strange guy on Miami CSI

Best of DuMont Network, which will spawn a spinoff for Discovery, "Trawling the Dangerous New York Harbor for Sunken Kinnies." Lots cheaper and warmer than LobsterQuest, or whatever they call it.

Hey, did you hear, they're going to rename soccer "Zucker"! ;D

Now soccer will REALLY never become a major sport in America.

As the Vietnam War dragged on in the 60s, some comedian (Milton Berle, I think) said that the solution for ending the war was to put it on ABC, and it would be canceled in 13 weeks.

Since no joke every really dies, perhaps it's time to revive it, but substitute "Afghanistan" and "NBC."

Just Re-Run Carson every night ;D

Not a bad idea, but that would be something for test run on Comedy central first...wouldn't it be EXTREMELY embarrassing if Comedy Central really DID bring in better ratings than NBC doing exactly that???

Rockford Files anyone? (Seriously, a pilot script for a remake has been ordered)

Well, they did bring back The Bionic Woman and Knight Rider, albeit to failing results...might as well as bring back Columbo, McMillian & Wife, and McCloud. Hell, bring back CHiPs!

Tell that to George Lopez. Remember that one time last year when an installment of his late night show "Lopez Tonight" on TBS was beat by reruns of "The George Lopez Show" on Nick at Nite?

I hope they bring "My Name is Earl" back in the 8pm hour and shift the dramas back to the 10pm slot. When they brought in Leno, they showed "Earl" the door in the midst of a cliffhanger episode.
Yeah. It took years before "ALF" resolved its cliffhanger in a movie.

I do get my "Earl" fix from the reruns, and I've seen one episode that I missed the first time around due to the president bumping him by a half-hour, and still have to see one more where I ran out of tape.

I think they could easily mine content from USA as well.

The last attempt to do that fell very flat. That's not to say it can't be a stopgap measure, but the affiliates howling about Leno at 10 shouldn't expect much better in the short term. This is something that will take time.
Still, I enjoyed those "Monk" reruns a lot and I don't have the money to spend on cable.
