WHAT WILL WBZ DO FOR CHRISTMAS?

Hey, everybody! What will WBZ News Radio 1030 do for Christmas? Will it air Christmas music on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, or will it trudge out its tired "Christmas Carol" program with Gary Lapierre as Scrooge and Michael Coleman giving its depressing prologue? He never does any narration other than that(he just goes around playing odd roles during the show). I wish they'd record a new version which would be 2 hours in length and use all the staff from their sister stations. There must be something better to listen to than the News Radio 1030 staff morph into the WBZ Radio Holiday Players.

Don't pay ASCAP, no (but they sample) music, including Christmas.
I haven't heard the "CC" in years. Did they edit Brudnoy out?

Well, since 1999, they've had Gary Lapierre play Scrooge on Christmas Eve with all the WBZ staff playing the other parts like Tiny Tim, Bob Crachit, Marley's Ghost, and others. I wonder why Michael Coleman doesn't give the epilogue narration at the end of the broadcast before the air staff identify themselves and tell what roles they played.
