WHAT WOULD KIVA DO IF

What would KIVA 1550 do if Doug Stephan retires? Live and local 6A-9A? Complementing the other post. ;D

Move Phil Marquez To Mornings or Bring Back Larry Ahrens Or Maybe Put Bill's Jack Pot Show on it gets the Most Calls or simulcast The CW's The Buzz LOL Happy New Years

I haven't had a chance to listen to Phil. In Arizona there's interference from 50kW KUAZ/Tucson during critical hours. Otherwise maybe we could hear it! Is 1550 streaming? How about 1600?

In all deference to Double C..Phil does a passable show, but generates few if any calls.
Not comfortable with his Hispanic slant..mentioning changing the perception of his people.

Larry Ahrens? wow..

KFFN fan..how did KTAR do with storm coverage?

KTAR to my knowledge was the only station with continuous live local coverage during the height of the storm on Thursday afternoon / evening.
Unfortunately, KTAR lost power for an hour early Friday morning (other FM's also lost power).
The phoenix forum has more info on this ...

KFYI (Clear Channel) had limited storm coverage. CC really has issues with local coverage w/ their AM's, both in Albuquerque and Phoenix. Fortunately, Jennings at Citadel understands the importance of local coverage, as he talked about w/ his interview on Alan colmes radio recently.
