What would you do to Kiss 95.1?

The Beat is pounding Kiss in the ratings! What would you do if you programmed Kiss?

1) Make it more Rythmic and go head on with The Beat.

2) Go the other way. Play less Hip Hop, remain a CHR but lean towards Hot AC and maybe pickup some Link listeners who are tired of talk.

3) Leave it alone and hope that The Beat is just a new novelty that'll wear off.

4) Flip it.

For the record, my choice is 2.

Agreed. That's pretty much a sure-fire way to get the people who listened to the Link 3-4 years ago.<P ID="signature">______________

Before any switch or major adjustement, take a look at the last three trends.

Almost all of that increase at Kiss is in their key demos.

Speaking as someone who used to listen to KISS 95.1, I quit listening because either they quit playing Top 40 or I got too old for the stuff that is considered Top 40...It seems like a Teen Station now, never thought that I would become a "Classic", "Retro" or yikes an "Oldies" so soon in my 30s...

Kiss should stay the course......programming, imaging, jocks are much better at Kiss. This hip-hop music is at times a hard-sell in Charlotte. Bottom line is the revenue. Let's see how "The Beat" plays out on this. Plus Clear Channel does sooo much voicetracking and automation, it gets old. At least Kiss is live 24/7. Still plays CD's as well. That's radio.
