What would you like to see in 2006?

WHJY- Pick up David Lee Roth's morning show if available yet.Quinn and Cantara go afternoons while simulcasting still in New Hampshire.
Geoff Charles gets more time WHJJ.
B101- Nothing against T.C. but seems to go through alot of friends. Time for a new show. A local real oldies request show on Saturday nights even if it's not Bruce. The show they have now is horrible at best.

99.7- Switch format to anything even Polka music. Anything would be an improvement.

WEEI-FM-With them picking up the SOX would like to see them beat out WPRO and WHJJ. Although with the Station night club case on the horizon could be interesting between WPRO and WHJJ on coverage.

Hot- Seems to be on a roll. How about a Hot simulcast on 99.7 and target the South County Area this summer.Give WWRX a run for the money.

Thoughts............

Quite honestly, I want to see a Jack-FM type format on 99.7. 93.7 Mike FM is technically North of Boston, while 99.7 is south of Providence; pretty good seperation. Also, New London doesn't really have a Hot AC because 'KCD 107.7 is long gone, so it seems like it would work (since it's closest to a Hot AC format).

I say this primarily on the bias that I like the format too, so my opinion is tainted :) But another thing I'd like to see is what someone else suggested. Make a deal to get the WWRX calls on 99.7 and make it either Classic Rock, or Classic Hits like 100.1 The Pike in Worcester. Now THAT would also be a great choice in my opinion!<P ID="signature">______________

I'd like to see Entercom and Brown swap frequencies.
103.7 to WBRU and 95.5 to WEEI-FM.

A moratorium on anything more than a 3-person morning show anywhere with the 3rd person being very low profile as in a producer or news person with some on air presence but not much.If you need more than 3 people then you have the wrong 3 people.

Gio and Kim have been trimmed down to 3 with Will Gilbert getting some air time. With the amount of frantic chattering G&K do anything more than 3 would be overbearing.

The Coast morning show is already overbearing with unnecessary voices that are caustic.I realize Joannie needs support but she wouldn't need a built-in laugh track and heckling from the side if they let her do the show without going for yucks every inch of the way.More often than not she's on a different wave length than everyone else and they need a crew that will fit in with her instead of portraying her as some out-of-it mom surrounded by pop culture freaks.

PRO-FM: More of the same. Kerry Collins seems to be doing pretty good at nights. Perhaps it's time for a new voice during middays though.

WSNE: The morning show is a bit too overcrowded. Plus, things may be sturring since Joan's former partner is now on Lite.

HJY: More of the same. But no David Lee Roth on in mornings. His show is going to bomb. People got bored by the end of the one week he "filled-in" on WZLX. Q&C should move to afternoons and Missy or Big Jim in evenings.

WBRU: More of the same, except no more Nickelback! Or Metallica. They're not alternative!

WCTK: Great station, keep it up!

WSKO-FM: Dump sports, already! A classic hits/classic rock station would be great, or a Jack-like format. I'm not even opposed to 99.7 simulcasting Hot 106. It would be great for the summers on the beach and the URI crowd.

WWBB: Get the imaging and music right. The imaging is oldies, the music is pretty much classic hits. I'd like to see them go back more mainstream oldies, like Oldies 103.3, but maybe even veering in the direction of more of a true oldies format.

WAKX: I've said it enough how there can not be more than a few people that actually speak Portuguese that listen to this station. Good idea, but the signal is in the wrong place.

WEEI-FM: No real changes. A completely new Red Sox line-up is on its way for 2006.

WWLI: David Jones should be a success.

WWKX: Perhaps getting a PD that actually knows hip-hop music would be a good idea, since Tony Bristol doesn't exactly strike me as "street."
