What would you program?

So, given all the changes to the station ownership and formats in the area. What would you program if you owned a radio station?

How you would program a radio station would depend on several things. Would you own just one or a whole cluster? How much debt would you have incurred? If you owned a stand alone with little or no debt, you could afford to program to a niche and be able hire more people . If you had just one station and a lot of debt, you're basically screwed.

I'm running an online radio station of my own and if I ran a real station, I'd change it into what I've currently got. I'm playing music from all genres going back to the 50s and 60s all the way up to today. Most of the songs though are dance remixes and extended mixes of songs. I'm also playing current dance music, such as Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell and Sander Van Doorn. There's only 1 catch. All songs are no less then 115 beats per minute.

Wink 106, and Wink all the rest of them too ;)..Just kidding. Retro 80's

music of your life to go after the 55+ they are the ones with money and will support advertisers. at least they have retirement $$$ unlike most that are spending their retirement.

Hey PC, I got a lot of music and work love to do a show or two as a test. Private email me.

It would be more about hiring clever and entertaining personalities. Music would be the very best of the 60s and early to mid 80s with lots from the 70s. All done with a bright, adult top 40 style. .... and on the a.m. side, wouldn't it be great to wake up every morning to a Dan Ingram polka show?
