Gee....I have been a little busy lately. I haven't lived in the market for nearly 11 years (although I did commute to Sacramento from San Francisco to work for KSAC in 2004 and early 2005.

Nothing is really going on in your neck of the woods. I see that the 99.5 call letters have been changed to KLVB...Whoo-hoo.

The FCC database updates at 12:00 AM every federal business day. Perhaps something will show up after 9:00 PM Pacific, this evening.

Personally, I find it annoying that KHLX, KOIT and KOST are in Christmas Chinese water torture mode already.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Same old song and dance in this market...maybe that's a good thing right now?

I am looking forward to The Eagle's "Classic Rock A-to-Z" starting next week. Always a treat at the end of the year.

Hahaha, a most apt description!

Well, local radio....I continue to enjoy Dog and Joe on 98 Rock, and also have been able to hear Don Geronimo on KHTK. Having know of him for years but never hearing him til he came back to the market this year, I find him to be an incredible radio talent. Man knows his stuff, and does personality radio the way it should be done

Hmmm. So no KSTN-FM at 99.5. Also Michael, in addition to KHLX, KOIT & KOST, There is also KJOY-99.3 in Stockton that went All- Christmas last Friday. (Nov. 19)

Also in the Valley, Mix 95.1 and Oldies 102.1 have also gone Christmas, as well as 98.9 in Fresno. Elsewhere K-Shasta in Redding and Star 92.7 in Sonora make the switch on Friday. Also I'm guessing that KJSN will go Christmas pretty soon as well.

The KSTN-FM calls are on a Spanish Language Christian station in Redding owned by EMF.

I noticed Mix 96 is starting to mix in the occasional Christmas tune. Not a bad mix for now. I dread when they, and others, are all Christmas. One guy at work loves the Christmas music, so he cranks it in the shop, plus in the field, whenever I'm around. I do like Christmas music...ON CHRISTMAS! ::)
