When I first heard "Whataya Want From Me" by Adam Lambert on ClearChannel Hot AC KDMX Mix 102.9, I thought it's a little bit kool, but nah, for some reason "Whataya Want From Me" was my least favorite Hot AC hit ever in spring 2010. I don't really like Adam Lambert, I'm sorry if yall do like Adam Lambert, but not me. I wished Adam Lambert dropped away from Hot AC soon, but he didn't.
"Whataya Want From Me" made it's appearance in ClearChannel AC stations including Houston - KODA and Orlando - WMGF late spring 2010 and I wasn't so surprised, I thought Adam Lambert might be too upbeat for AC, but I figure out a lot of cross-overs from Hot AC to AC are usually successful.
That one night around 3 AM in the morning in late summer 2010 when I was about to go to sleep I turned on the radio and scroll up and down the FM dial to check out what other stations are playing because I was bored, but when I turned back to KVIL 103.7 Lite FM, it was playing "Whataya Want From Me". Wait a minute... I might have been tuned into KDMX Mix 102.9, let me make sure I'm turned to KVIL. WTF!?!?!? This better not me KVIL playing Adam Lambert and it really was! -.- I'm not tuned into KDMX. Unfortunately, CBS Radio AC KVIL has added Adam Lambert - Whataya Want From Me to their playlist. The next few days it was KVIL strong current for about a month then they did stop playing "Whataya Want From Me". Thank God! But, earlier this year about the beginning of spring 2011 "Whataya Want From Me" came back to KVIL and became it's current again till now.
Clear Channel AC has stopped playing Adam Lambert in the past few months, I believe. I haven't seen Adam Lambert in any of CC AC. I can't believe Adam Lambert had been an AC hit on CBS and CC. At least Renda AC Magic 104.1 KMGL at all, and I believe other Renda AC's never played Adam Lambert, I think. Adam Lambert is not that uptempo, but a little too uptempo for AC. I never liked Adam Lambert that much at all. His other song "If I Had You" Hot AC was a little better than "Whataya Want From Me", but Adam Lambert was never one of my big fans. It was surprising that he successfully crossed into AC playlists.
Have yall notice any other AC stations playing Adam Lambert? Any other CBS Radio or ClearChannel AC stations playing it, or any other stations besides CBS Radio or CC AC stations playing it?
