Whatever happened to Hot 97.1 "WHOT"

They planned to go on air (or said they would) right next to a legit station; if they HAD made it on I'm sure Greater would have gotten the FCC on them right away. Out of curiosity I searched for a site; one listed on Yahoo, linked to a myspace, wouldn't show up; a YouTube video announcing the arrival had been "removed by the user" and the following site boasts that in Nov of 2008 "WPOT" (I am not making that up) Hot 97.7,
"We The Best" (uh, ever hear of verbs?) would soon debut. It said the world famous DJ Chubby Chub would be part of the lineup. Catchy logo, too, but...where's the station? Certainly not on the dial.
