Anybody know where he is these days and if he's still in radio?

He's working for WOWY 97.1 in State College, PA as Operations Manager and Midday Host.

he is based out of State College, PA and is Ops. Manager for stations there and in Johnstown, PA (CHR, OLDIES and SPORTS)

Good ole' nick. My first boss in New Orleans. My how things have changed. As far as I know he's still up in college towne py

Hey Ya Nick!!

Nick is a great guy. Right after I got in town I interviewed with him at B-97. He didn't hire me but he took about 20 minutes and gave me a real good critique. That never happens. A few years later I had just gotten hired at Lite 105 and he called me at home to offer me a gig at Magic. I turned it down because there was talk of advancement at Lite.

I think the world of Nick Bazoo. Not too many like him around.

True! I had the pleasure of meeting him after the Levet's hired him as PD of "92-3 The Point!" They were all 80's at the time. This is before I started in commercial radio; I met him at a remote. Gave me some of the best advice of anyone I've worked with in radio!

And by the way, good to see your name on this board! I'm sure a few of us miss hearing you put us at ease and softly carry us through the evening with "Magic After Dark!" You did that so well!!!

And I do remember you when you did the afternoon gig on The Point!

Jeremy
