Wolper merged with Warner Communications in the 70's and absorbed into Warner Bros. Also that is how Warner Bros. ended up getting rights to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory from Paramount.
Though apparently Wolper and Warners were still separate units through near the end of the 1970s, at least -- I recall episodes of the Wolper-produced "Welcome Back, Kotter" that had the Wolper logo at the end, with "A Warner Communications Company" at the bottom.
Speaking of Kotter, you can watch those shows and other old skool Warner Bros. shows commercial free on in2tv.com. I saw Kotter, Eight is Enough, Freakazoid!, Alice and F Troop.
