Last time I heard him, he was on WZBC 90.3, that was around ??? 1994? Maybe 1995. He was hosting a High Energy Dance show on there on weeknights.
I remember, (ok I lived in Boston area all my life) I grew up listenning to two stations because I loved their music (KISS 108 and W I L D 1090am) I mostly listenned to KISS 108. I remember listenning to Andrew Wolf on KISS 108
He was on weekends and fill ins. He was great. He sounded great.
In 1987, when I was 12 years old. I moved to Amherst, Ma for a year. When I lived there, I listened to KISS 95.7
Funny to say, he was also on there as well. As a matter of fact, back then, both stations sounded very same, both had "Morning Work Out" at 11am. KISS 95.7 was better though, they played some mixes throughout the day (no particular times)
Guess who else was on KISS 108 and KISS 95.7 around then? Jeff St John. That player was maddd cool!!! he played serious mixes and remixes on both stations (Example: "Push It" by Salt and Pepper", and "Somergirls" he used to play the "Somerville" Remix of "Somergirls" Those two remixes were on KISS 108. He was one of my favorites back then, because he sounded madd cool. Like Andrew Wolf, Jeff St John also had a slight (what sounded like) am English accent. He is now (October 2010) Jeff St John is now on Movin 99.7 in San Fransisco. He's on weekdays 2pm-7pm (5pm Boston time)
