What's Bristol broadcasting doing with WNPC?

I read on the FCC web site that BB's WNPC will cancel their planned CP for class C3 status and remain a class A and change their COL to White Pine, Tn. What's up with that? Do they have plans for moving into Morristown or closer to Knoxville? Anyone heard anything?

Don't know what's up but maybe they are hoping to target the entire Lakeway area with that frequency. The signal already comes in fine in Morristown. A move to White Pine would straddle Newport and Morristown

What's strange is that they are going to leave the tower at its present location and just move the COL. They have a good audience in Cocke County why would you just change the COL? Morristown already has too many signals for a small market. Maybe they have a plan to move closer to Knoxville, they could use a few more stations there. (lol)
