What's going on at Clear Channel stations?

Over the last few days listening to KNIX or KYOT, I have heard a number of multiple feeds going over the air at the same time. KNIX started a song the other afternoon, had a second song start up and then a commercial...all at the same time. This was with Steve Goddard at the helm and the same thing happened this morning with Tim and Wiley. Over at the KYOT, a song was playing and the feed from the news guy filling in for BeckyLynn started and stopped two times followed again by another commercial while the original song was playing.

Is their computer controlled board going haywire in the heat?

Clear Channel stations use a system called VistaMax... it's absolutely terrible, oh sure it looks neat and have a lot of bells and whistles advertised--and when it works it's nice, however it is a disaster generally speaking, frequently other station's feeds go out over the air. They must be making "improvements" on the system as of late.
