Just wanted to say "HELLO" and hope all is well in the wiregrass. I have so many AMAZING memories raising HELL downtown, at the old Night Moves and at Cowboys! The late FREAK and I would stay out all night and not come back sometimes until Sunday afternoon. Downtown had all but become "GHETTO" and Night Moves was turned into a package shop and Cowboys' was the only place left to go to when I left 97X last year. I do miss those times in Dothan and I miss Dothan. I still have my memories and my friends still in radio there and in Panama City Beach! What's the matter TIBB's? Are you jealous because I have been in demand? For the record I was with 97X from day one until I left May 4th last year. I left on good terms with Magic Broadcasting. I went to Albany and lost my full time TELEVISION job, not entirely my fault, I was with CUMULUS owned Rock 103 WJAD and once again left only because they didn't have a full time position. I decided to head up this way and be near my baby sister and her family and once again worked part time at SAGA COMMUNICATION'S 1059 The Mountain in Asheville, where my buddy Matt Stone merely helped out a friend while I searched for my next challenge. I was BLESSED to be near my family and to work for a HERITAGE Classic Rock Station "The Tri-Cities Classic Rock 1015 WQUT" and an amazing company like CITADEL. I feel on hard times late last year and if you are wondering why there is your answer. I posted a simple inquiry on this page and you have to show what a MORON you are by posting silly, childish, juvenile crap like what you did. I only left 97X after TEN PLUS years for what I thought was a good opportunity in Albany. Guess what, ROCK 103 in Albany had their best book ever with YODA in the fold. If you check the ratings for 97X, I always DOMINATED. I plan on doing the same for CITADEL on 1015 WQUT. I have a THREE YEAR deal and I home it will be a PERMANENT one. As for 97X, I am still in constant contact with STROKE and SHORTBUS and they are doing an AMAZING job. I just wanted to set the record straight I am here at 1015 WQUT for good!

P. S. I have worked for G-105, Z-102, Y-107, 1073 WCGQ, Q-101, Y-102, ROCK 103, ISLAND 106, WILD 106 and of course 97X. Does that clear things up?

It was a joke Yoda...since everyone else blasted your for the last post
when you went to Asheville. Usually,(I assume) when someone puts a ;D on a post,
it generally means just having a little fun. I thought you were all about FUN. No harm
intended.

At least you didn't work for Pirtle, Chase and McCloud back in the Pirate 97 days.
That was as interesting as radio can get. Was the station still at 1kw? Try working
with no hope of a paycheck, but it was still worth it (I am referring to a great FM station way
down the dial...) I think I kinda get the hard times comment.

Citadel promised you a lifetime three year contract? Good luck. Seriously. That's a company
that I frankly cannot see digging their way out of the mess. To cut $20M in expenses vs.
trying to sell $20M in ads blows my mind. They're not thinking outside the box and it will
be tough days ahead by summer for a lot of their stations. I hope 'QUT station is not
called on to be a revenue source ... and they gut it.


FTR --- Knoxville, Nashville, Atlanta, Dallas and Miami (some all in the same month...that's a joke. ;D,
close on the latter) and the world's most beautiful white sand beaches...still the best place on the
planet IN THE DAY. And maybe even owned a station or two. Thankful CC was wealthy.

Asheville is a cool little town. Had some friends that worked at 'QUT way back when. Glad to know
it's still rockin. Has been for years. I don't know much about Johnson City. Never went there when
I was in K-Town.

Again, wish you nothing but the best.

I mean now look here boys...I miss Ol' Yoda. 97X has really gone downhill since he left...and now it sounds like they're trying to go classic rock!!!! I've been hearing Van Halen and AC/DC a lot lately...like we don't have enough classic rock in this area allready!

Sorry about BLASTING you. There are SCARS APLENTY from my experience at WALB, News 10. I am still recovreing and they just let me go. I trusted them. I did get to work with some great folks at CUMULUS. I am not a "JOB JUMPER". Like I said I put in TEN plus years at 97X with several owners, GM's, PD's and the only reason I left was because I really thought WALB would be my last stop.

I am aware of CITADEL. But the management here has been AMAZING to me and I hope it is a long run. The only way I will leave is if something happened on 97X and I was able to come back. Other than that I rebounded nicely. I have gone from market 238 to 279 to 101.

I apologize and THANKS for your encouraging words in the past. Hope this will patch up everything!
