Yesterday at around 5 pm Libermans XO 107.9 and 101.7 fm were playing two mariachi songs. And I mean Rancheras not romantic songs. And today I heard La Raza 98.5 and 103.3 Fm playing Rock songs in spanish. Are they trying to flip the formats or frequencies?

And tonight just like 20 minutes ago XO 107.9 was playing Vicente Fernandez

A/C stations play lots of Vicente Fernandez... he's a core artist.

I looked at the log for KQQK for the 9th between 4 and 7 PM, and there were a couple of Alejandro Fernández songs and a Pepe Aguilar, all with a ranchera flavor. They are core songs to the AC format.

XO claims to play "La Musica Romantica de Tu Generacion." Funny, but when it comes to romance, Pitbull and Tito el Bambino (two artists in their top 5 last week) aren't exactly the ones that come to mind. XO is turning into the Spanish-language version of 103.7, with inconsistent, inappropriate imaging and an unfocused playlist.
