What's going on with the KJR trimulcast?

it seems like 93.3 is also being simulcasted on 95.7HD2. I live in Buckley and you can't get 95.7 HD signals there. Only frequency I can't get in HD. But I heard it when I was in Bonney Lake it seems like 93.3 and 95.7HD2 were the same. They should simulcast 950 on 95.7HD2 like they used to. 96.5HD3 is supposed to simulcasting 1090 but they are having signal problems all over the Seattle area. They need to fix 96.5HD3

I think 93.3 and 950 are still simulcasting. They said the split would occur tomorrow, so it might not be a bad idea to try again tomorrow and see if 93.3 and 95.7-HD2 are different.

No KJR FM 93.3 and KJR 950am are no longer simulcasting. I live in the area and can listen to all three stations, 93.3fm, 950am and 1090am on a radio in real time. They have officially flipped. KJR 950am is now Fox Sports/CBS like 1090 was.

KPTR 1090 is now the Patriot with conservative talk, with shows that iHeart wants to clear in Seattle.

There is some shuffling of the HD's and fine tuning the automation for Monday when people are back at work. After all it is Easter Sunday.

Sounds like they may make some programming announcements on Monday for KJR 93.3.

Oops, darn small print on desk calendar. Today is Palm Sunday. Now that we can stop wondering about when the trimulcast will end, who gets a three day Easter weekend next week? Do you get Friday off or Monday or just a regular weekend with candy and eggs.

Of all the conservative hosts, Beck is the only one I can tolerate. Though I disagree with his politics he atleast explains why and throws humor into the show. The rest of this conservative crew is an instant tune out for this listener.

Just ran to the store at 7:15pm and heard the Kraken on 1090 KPTR. KJR 93.3 had a master recap via Westwood One. KJR 950 had CBS sports radio.

Looks like the Kraken have been demoted to KPTR 1090...no FM simulcast.

[Beck] throws humor into the show
That's why Rush Limbaugh drew as many people as he did, and you just don't see that anymore on talk radio, nonetheless regular radio. I would tune in for the humor portion alone. I might have to give Beck a listen :)

I don't get the extra day off this year, sadly. I am still really looking forward to Easter, though.

But just to confirm, the transfer has already occured?

Yes it has. Sounds like they may have some programming announcements on Monday for KJR 93.3. A little adjust there a tweak here on Monday to tie up loose ends.

And boom, just like that, KUBE is KJR. I guess the world keeps on turning! Except for those in Seattle who didn't see this coming. At least now there's an HD2 for KUBE

I believe you were hearing the Seattle Thunderbirds, who have always been on 1090. There was no Kraken game on Sunday.

Tuned into KPTR 1090 early yesterday morning, heard a replay of Clay Travis & Buck Sexton. They sounded fairly typical for conservative talk, and they were talking about the Ukraine War... but they were being played on the station, so I guess KPTR has already started the transition.

As for the conservative hosts, yeah, Glen Beck is interesting at times, and Dan Bongino is opinionated but sounds like a guy you could have a beer or coffee with, despite the politics. Some of the other ones are definitely not like that. Shapiro would talk your head off, Levin would yell at you, etc.

Just heard ‘KJR-FM Seattle’ on the stream at TOH. Haven’t had time to check out The Jet...what are they ID’ing as?
If 93.3 is now KJR, what will 95.7 be? Actually, I think of Atlanta's example where they have WSB on 98.7 which is their Adult Contemporary music, while 95.5 is WSBB (with an extra B) is a straight Rebroadcast of 750 WSB, with News/Talk.

Someone mentioned a while back that 95.7 might change to KJEB. Now, it's been reserved by iHeart.

Oh yah, the thunderbirds.
They're just staying on 1090 til their contract is up, right? Just like NASCAR was dropped shortly after 1090 went progressive talk (it started when it was airing a much more compatible classic country format), and 770 aired the Sonics in their final season. Political talk and sports just don't seem to mix at least in this market.
