What's going on with WGNY?

Apparently some kind of transmitter problem on WGNY's part. I'm hearing WGNY on 102.7 overriding WNEW near Poughkeepsie... but I don't hear WGNY on 103.5 or 103.9 here. And I hear WGNY on its regular 103.1 sounding normal.

You could call WGNY and alert them... or even call WNEW or WKTU and let them know WGNY is interfering. WGNY SHOULD go off the air until this problem is fixed... it is illegal operation... even if it's unintentional.

Problem is fixed. WNEW is nice and clear again here. WGNY is just on 103.1. Also they apparently are simulcasting with WTSX Fox 96.7 per on air announcement.
 
Problem is not fixed! Driving this morning at 6:30 I still picked up Hits 103.1 on 102.7, 103.5 & 103.9.

I live just south of Newburgh and it is still going on. I call called WGNY and it appears some kind of filter went out on them over the weekend. They are working to fix it. I was worried there for a moment that maybe they had translators on 102.7 and 103.5...Whew! Gotta have my Mix and KTU!!

With all these changes at the station, maybe they also had a power increase. I don't know.<P ID="signature">______________

Hopefully it's fixed now. KTU, WNEW, and WFAS are all coming in once again.
