What's Going On With WIQR In Prattville?

I went through there last week.  Noticed the big satellite was gone and the East Main Street building was vacated too.  Has this station moved to a new location?  If so I wanted to share it with Mr. Zach, so he could post it on his awesome web site.

I was able to check them out for a few minutes.  Far as I know, they're still doing sports.  The sound quality has room for major improvements though.

I was in Clanton about a week ago and listening to WIQR. I tuned in the station on and off for about 20 minutes, and all I heard was what sounded like a phone receiver off the hook. ??? At least now they are offering programming that's more entertaining... :D

Montgomery might be better served if the Jim Rome and Dan Patrick affiliations slid to WTXK 1210/107.5 "The Ticket". WIQR's had its chance to be a viable alternative to WMSP, but Al Stroh's station has put in a better effort with a better overall sound, predominantly helped by its FM translator at 107.5.

(Well, I'd be better served with that given my occasional trips to Montgomery. I can't stand what usually passes for local/regional sports radio in Alabama, whether it originates anywhere from Huntsville to Mobile.)
