whats going on with wttk?????

i was on the wttk websight which seem to be under construction since february and i saw an ad for golf live play by play on 96.9?? are they flipping to sports and thats why the websight isnt done yet??? im little confused as to why they would be airing this on a fm talk station that talks about politics i do wish this station would go away one day, and bring back a station thats about to die tonight wbcn but no such luck, maybe we will have 3 sports stations oh great!!!! any thoughts??

It isn't golf play by play. WTKK is broadcasting live from the Deutsche Bank Championship. This is something they have been doing for years. They are the normal shows (discussing the normal topics) but broadcasting from the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Only my opinion...but

WTKK is a station with bad programming, uninformed and unprepared hosts. These so called "Talk Show Hosts" seem more intent on pontificating on foolish subjects than taking on anything in a seriously constructive manner. How a station in a major market can allow a low rent boorish trio of untalented clowns like the Andelman bros to poison the airwaves for three hours each Saturday is beyond me -- brokered time ?? Their show gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "BAD RADIO"

just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

from 2000-2005 WTKK was event radio. Jay or Jim would pull all nighters or come on weeekends to take calls about the BUsh-Gore recount, The Supreme Court's stay of the recount, presidential debates at UMASS Boston, Reagan's death on a weekend.

Michael Graham was a stalwart for years, working multiple shifts, sometimes on the same day. Just last week LAura Ingraham popped in on Bernie and Lou during the best of Imus.
