What's going to happen to WALV Chattanooga?

Now that WDOD snatched half of WALV's syndicated programming away from them, and possibly their audience, what's the future of WALV as a top 40 in Chattanooga? Is WALV still going to run AT 40 with Ryan Seacrest? At the very least to compete with WDOD, WALV should have a live and local morning show and a live and local Saturday Night dance party show and move AT 40 to Sunday mornings.

I just recently left WALV after 14 years in morning drive. WDOD sure has the guns to do them damage, but from what I'm told they still plan to stay with the Adult CHR type sound.

Some additional thoughts: WDOD didn't steal WALV's weekend programming. Cadillac Jack dumped a bunch of it. They do have a live and local morning show. Logan Carmichael and Lysa Greer are the new morning show. Oh, and Seacrest is on Sunday mornings from 8 until noon.

Personally, despite all the local nay saying about WDOD I think they will debut high and Kid Kraddick will do very well here.

All this means little to me now. I'm very happy playing Classic Hits on WAYA "Tennessee 93-9" with my old bud Ed Ramsey.
