What's going to happen with the National EAS test

...with one very important exception: If a station does not have the required EAS equipment, or if it has been out of service more than 60 days without notification to the FCC, fines will be imposed, the same as if the violations were discovered during an inspection.
 
I wonder if some stations will simply be "off the air" for a few days next week, to avoid having to explain that they don't have the equipment hooked up anyway?

I have instructed all my stations on how to take back their audio chain should this happen. Not that anything would, it's the federal gub'ment in charge of it....what could go wrong? ::)
