It's quite possible. Spanish programming seemed to be one of the very few niches not covered in some form or fashion in the Gump metro. In fact, the only non-Spanish programming I've heard in quite a while was the Sunday morning gospel and church programming which has been a stalwart for years. Usually the weekend programming, sans church time, is the national ESPN Desportes feed, and during the week it's primarily Spanish talk, local and network. Could a translator at 94.1 or (less likely) 98.3 or (even less likely) 103.9 be in the works to get a more-quality 24 hour signal?
The nighttime signal in Montgomery is still respectable inside the Eastern and Southern bypasses.
Now eyes are turning to the sale of 1250 WRBZ Wetumpka and its weak at best translator at 95.5. Will WRBZ return to the golden days of WETU and fill the classic country niche in town since east Alabama's switched the alt rock Tiger format to 93.9 and relegated the classic country Eagle to a weaker 95.9, a virtual no-show in metro Montgomery.
