One of the transmitters on Penobscot, that's what.
I just drove through Mt. Top, and one of the buildings up there was blazing away. That's gonna be tough to get to, with all the recent snow.
 
OTA TV and FM are gone. FM is available via the FM website; TV via cable and sat. They are looking to borrow a non-com's FM freq until they can get 89.9 up and going.
 
I was just listining to the WVIA stream on my Squeezebox Radio. They said programing can be heard in the Scranton area on VMFM. Not sure if it is a full schedule or key NPR/PRI programs only such as Morning Edition. I had hoped they would partner with the University of Scranton as there station has greater reach. Oh well guess I will be listing to the BBC on WJFF and WESS on my way to work.
 
Change of plans; FM will be back on the air today on low power. They were originally going to use WRKC as their WB outlet, but that won't be needed now.
 
Re: What's Hot? WVIA Update

WVIA back on air at 89.9 from WQFM site. WVIA also now on 91.3 WFUZ, Carbondale in midvalley and Carbondale. WVIA also available on 95.1, W236BV which is a translator for WFUZ at Lake Scranton. covering part of Scranton, Dunmore and Dickson City. WVIA's Clarks-Summit translator also sounds fine at 90.3.
