I never said the Bone was classic rock, but it's ROCK. It's a radio BUTTON. It's another rock CHOICE for a few minutes. At least SOME people (maybe nine or ten) choose during their day or they would have a 0.0. They don't. If you're saying that KZPS and the Bone share absolutely NO audience at ANY time, you're sadly mistaken, and I can't believe anyone who has anything to do with radio in this market would say such a thing. As far as "success by default" is concerned, what else is new? What do you THINK is going to happen when Arbitron gets 2,000 diaries back from a market with four million people?
Why do think all these CEO's are trying to get the new system in place to see what people are REALLY listening to? It could be Magoo on the air or Dillon, or your little sister. It doesn't matter. So, actually in a way, you are correct, because Arbitron itself is the fluke. It's also a complete joke that unfortunately controls a person's employment. Regardless of talent.
