since i made the Switch From KIIS FM To KPWR would any LA Station Try To After KIIS Since The #2 In The Ratings since thats what KIIS Did To Power

I listen to La Radio since 1984

1984-1987 KIIS FM
1987-1992 Power 106
1992-2006(Jan) KIIS FM
2006(Feb.)-Now Power 106

PS Would any station try Hits And Hip Hop (Just Like WBBM-FM Chicago)

Personally, I do not see any huge changes coming to LA radio in the near future (major format flips).

The reason? CC and CBS having control of the market.

I would have to agree.

Jason, you need to understand that the radio business is a lot different now than it was in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Your history of listening since 1984 has no real relevance anymore. Sorry.

I doubt it. The audiences for KIIS and Power are, to large degree, separate.<P ID="signature">______________

I live in Chicago and B96 going "hits and Hip-Hop" was the worst decision they could have ever made. They are trying to be something they are not. B96 can't decide if it wants to be a rhythmic CHR or a "Hot 97/Power 106" clone.
The reality is "hip-Hop" is a part of the hits, BUT if you classify yourself as hits and hip-hop, I think the audience is going to expect a little bit more from you on both fronts. At least if you keep your slogan as "playing the hits", you don't have to limit yourself on the genres of music you play.

I've read and re-read this post several times, and it's starting to hurt my head. What are you saying? This isn't English, it's a complete mess of a post. "would any LA Station Try To After KIIS Sicne The #2 In The Ratings since thats what KIIS Did to Power" -- Whaaaa?
