What's on 92.3 FM in Lubbock?

Ramar just filed a "cover" application and this upgraded translator should be on the air. I don't see any announcement about format anywhere on the web.

Anyone on the ground in Lubbock?

Is it translating the HD1 or a separate format on an HD subchannel? Radio-Locator doesn’t always track this correctly and often lists the main channel and its format regardless of what is actually on the translator.

Forum's not as popular as it once was. Maybe we'll get an answer eventually.

I did a quick check and 92.3 was static ,no station what so ever. 106.5 was playing Tejano I forgot all my Spanish so I couldnt tell much more.

Ramar just put Texas Country on 93.1 (Texas FM) (very well done logo btw). They should add Alternative on their 92.3 translator. They’d have a mega cluster (albeit half translators).

I guess this debut of 93.1 Texas FM also gives us some insight into what is going on over at 105.3 and 105.7. It appears the format swap may have been a preemptive strike at Ramar. Hopefully it wasn’t at the cost of the classic hits station. I do hope King FM comes back strong and succeeds!
