It's a translator for a religious station, I believe the 91.7 in Telford.
Licensed to serve the underserved "Gladwyne", from Roxborough. I'm sure they're all listening along the Rt. 23 corridor.
Forget third-adjacent protection for LPFM. This one violates second-adjacent. And I doubt the Beasleys care. I know the NAB doesn't. God forbid though, the programming be changed one day to something originating locally. Maybe even something for Gladwyne. Then the 96.9 would, as a direct result, begin creating interference for WWDB. And David Rehr and the NAB flunkies would be rioting in the streets.
I'd like to see the 96.9 carry, I don't know, the upcoming Lower Merion-Radnor football game. Oldest high school football rivalry in the country. Public school students in Gladwyne go to Lower Merion. That would be 96.9 serving its COL, right? Let's measure the amount of interference the 96.9 generates during the local game versus what it generates now.
By the way, we talked about this on the Radio Racket just two weeks ago.
